This is a temporary post until 31st March 2024
(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
The shift pattern for this position is Mon & Tuesday 08.45 -1700 Wednesday 08.45 – 1230. .
This post holder will support the effective administrative, clerical and reception service for Health Records providing this to patients, medical and nursing staff. This post holder will contribute to the smooth running of outpatient and day cases ensuring patient appointments are processed accurately and that patients’ health records remain confidential and accessible at all times.
This role will involve the maintenance of electronic and paper based patient records, ensuring these are accurate and up to date, through continual checking and updating of the patient management system (PMS).
This post is based at QEUH as part of a large health records team.
o 3 standard grades or equivalent – 1 must be English or good general education coupled with good office experience.
o Previous clerical experience required.
o Computer literate with good keyboard skills.
o Previous reception experience along with good communication skills required.
o Prior experience of using a Patient Management System (PMS) would be desirable.
