Salary: £21,030 - £22,677
Location: Priory Road, Hull
Hours: 37 hours
Contract: Fixed term, 6 moths from appointment (With the potential to become permanent)

Our Professional Standards Department are looking for a Clerical Assistant to undertake a wide range of administrative and support tasks!
The post holder will provide a confidential, efficient and effective service to the public, partners and members of the police service.
Role Duties:
- To create and maintain the Professional Standards Department database.
- Interrogates force computer systems to understand, evaluate, cross reference and extract relevant information.
- Provides advice and documentation on professional standards matters.
- Identifies discrepancies in information held and takes appropriate action to amend, referring complex issues to senior personnel as appropriate.
- Identifies emerging trends or patterns along with any issues surrounding complaints.
- To provide an efficient and confidential administrative support.
What is Required?
- A good standard of education sufficient to meet the requirements of the role.
- Experience of working in a clerical role including the use of computer equipment/ Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience of communicating effectively with people at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Experience of working in a customer orientated environment.
- Organisational skills.
- Ability to summarise information quickly and accurately.
- Awareness of the Data Protection Act.
