Do you have excellent customer services skills? Are you looking to develop your skills working in a friendly team?
We are looking to appoint a Clerical Assistant on a part time, permanent contract, to work on our residence receptions within the University’s Student Accommodation Service. Days of work will be Thursdays and Fridays, from 09:00-17:30.
The role is primarily a front facing customer service role to support the students and provide an exceptional customer experience. Duties will include handling routine enquiries in person and by telephone from students, staff, and visitors; general administrative duties; and the opportunity to contribute to a series of projects within the department. No experience of working within an education setting is required, as full training will be given.
You will need to be able to prioritise your own workload, as well as be able to use your own initiative and be flexible to handle the competing priorities of the day-to-day job. Occasional Saturday working may be required during busy periods, and on these occasions overtime or time off in lieu will be offered.
