City Services are currently recruiting a Cleansing Operative for the East District.
The East District is complemented by some wonderful green spaces, including Mayfield and Riverside Park and has a number of busy and high profile shopping areas as well as a number of housing sites. We are seeking candidates who take pride and personal responsibility in their work and enjoy working with a team.
The Cleansing Operatives are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of streets and open spaces, litter bins, street furniture and keeping the city clean and tidy and to help deliver the outcome "Southampton is an attractive and modern city, where people are proud to live and work".
You will work a regular shift pattern from Monday to Friday, with Saturday and Sunday being your rest days.

- Please note the salary quoted is based on full time hours (37 hours).
- Working hours 38 hours per week plus 2 hours TOIL
