Cleaning Operative

Reporting to the Property Manager, the Cleaning Operative will ensure The Ironworks in Sheffield is clean and kept to a very high standard. Ensure all amenity spaces and common areas stay fresh and perform routine inspections every day at specified times.

What you’ll be doing

• 
  Cleaning of the amenity spaces (remote workspaces, private dining room, multimedia room)
• Preoccupation and tenancy change over apartment cleaning
• Clean and re-stock designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out cleansing tasks and ad hoc projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

What you’ll need

• 
  Competency in using IT and PDA, tablet or equivalent
• Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
• Ability to manage your own time and work to deadlines
• To have worked in a similar Cleaning Operative role
• Take pride in delivering high standards of cleaning
• Demonstrate a positive can do attitude
• A flexible approach to the working day
• Experience of working in a customer focused environment, with a proven ability of delivering a high standard of customer service
• Practical knowledge of the Health and Safety regulations
• Good written and verbal communication.
