Cleaning Operative
Reporting to the Property Manager, the Cleaning Operative will ensure The Ironworks in Sheffield is clean and kept to a very high standard. Ensure all amenity spaces and common areas stay fresh and perform routine inspections every day at specified times.
What you’ll be doing
Cleaning of the amenity spaces (remote workspaces, private dining room, multimedia room)- Preoccupation and tenancy change over apartment cleaning
- Clean and re-stock designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out cleansing tasks and ad hoc projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
What you’ll need
Competency in using IT and PDA, tablet or equivalent- Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
- Ability to manage your own time and work to deadlines
- To have worked in a similar Cleaning Operative role
- Take pride in delivering high standards of cleaning
- Demonstrate a positive can do attitude
- A flexible approach to the working day
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment, with a proven ability of delivering a high standard of customer service
- Practical knowledge of the Health and Safety regulations
- Good written and verbal communication.
