Bethany is far more than just a school. We’re a unique charity and educational community set in 60 acres of the magnificent Weald in the Kent countryside.
Our facilities are truly second to none and in recent years we’ve created an indoor swimming pool, a substantial extension to our sixth form building and a dedicated fitness suite. Right now, we’re focusing on the construction of a purpose-built performing arts centre that will open and empower our pupils to express themselves to the full.
You’ll go the extra mile every day to ensure our wonderful campus always looks at its best. Operating both within and outside school terms, you will take ownership of a closely-knit cleaning team and do whatever it takes to maximise their performance. From day to day, you will inspect buildings across the site and co-ordinate cleaning responses, whilst planning scheduled deep cleans and overseeing housekeeping at high profile school events.
Naturally, you will be capable of training and motivating your colleagues to maximise their performance and will oversee stock ordering, engage and monitor outside contractors and control your own budgets, whilst championing continuous improvement to find new and better ways to keep the school at its best.
A capable and confident team leader, you will bring real passion for everything you do and the drive and determination to make things happen. You’ll be adept at managing schedules and deadlines, capable of using your initiative to the full, and able to get the best performance out of your team – and you will share our deep pride in our superb campus and our dedication to maintaining it to the highest standards.
