About the Role - Organisation: Nottingham City Council
Salary: £21,968 per annum rising to £22,777 per annumon first year of anniversary – pro rata for part time (subject to satisfactory completion of probation period)
Working Hours & Contract: Permanent – Annualised Hours – 1929 hours per year for Full time
Location: Museum Heritage Sites in Nottingham

We are pleased to announce we are re-opening Nottingham Castle, and as part of this great news, we have a fantastic opportunity to hire a Cleaning Heritage Operations Supervisor.

The successful candidate will support the Heritage Operations Team in ensuring the smooth operations of the Heritage Sites. The Cleaning Heritage Operations Supervisor will supervise the daily cleansing and maintenance of the site. The post holder will actively participate and assist with the operations of the site to deliver exceptional customer service, maintenance and statutory compliance for the grounds, buildings and structures. The successful candidate will oversee and actively participate on the programme of planned, reactive, preventative routine maintenance. The role will involve inspections and statutory compliance, in line with the site management plans and the city council policies and procedures.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
· Experience of delivering effective improvements to buildings and facilities in an historic environment
- Experience of working at a supervisory level, with experience of delivering a range of building functions – cleaning and/ or maintenance
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, cleaning and site security.
· Experience of maintenance of IT, AV business management systems and Microsoft office
· Ability to work across all museum sites, including evening, weekends and bank holidays
