Our dedicated Cleaning team operate across all three of our beautiful campuses, at Frenchay, Glenside and Bower Ashton. When you come to work with us as a Cleaner, you’ll never have two days the same! We have cleaning vacancies at our Frenchay, Glenside and Bower Ashton campuses working 15 hours per week. Our Cleaners are integral to the success of our University, as they enable the vital importance of a clean and well cared for University. You’ll be responsible for the day to day cleaning across a wide variety of areas across the University including offices, classrooms, lecture theatres and rest room areas.
You will have experience of cleaning, be proud of the contribution you make to a positive University environment and have good customer care skills.
We have permanent, part-time posts working 15 hours per week. Shifts available as follows:
Frenchay Campus
06.00-09.00, Monday-Friday
Glenside Campus
16.00-19.00, Monday-Friday
Bower Ashton Campus
06.00-09.00, Monday-Friday

Where are these roles based?
Some posts are based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have excellent transport links; we are within walking distance of two train stations, our bus terminus connects us to the local bus and metrobus network and we also have a range of cycling and changing facilities.
We also have a vacancy at our Glenside Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre. Regular bus services link the campus to the main Frenchay site, the city centre and surrounding areas, and nearby Bristol Parkway train station.
And we also have posts based at our City Campus in Bristol city centre which comprises of Bower Ashton Studios, Arnolfini, Spike Island and Watershed and is home to UWE Bristol's creative and cultural subjects. Through a combination of University sites and partnerships with creative and cultural organisations in the city, we have developed a network of cultural and creative spaces. These enable our students and staff to develop their professional practice in inspiring learning environments as well as provide opportunities for creative collaboration and networking.
