Your role as a Cleaner:
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas.
Based at Portland Building/University Park, duties include the general cleaning of offices, teaching spaces, laboratories, toilets, corridors, and stairwells providing excellent customer service at all times. Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
This position entails providing both planned and reactive cleaning service across the building and supporting the local cleaning team with covering holidays, sickness, deep cleaning, and any other cleaning duties during university events and activities.

Available Hours:
Post: This position is offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are part time, 20 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged (mainly Monday to Friday working between 6.00am – 10.00am). Flexibility will be required.

The successful candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which will run each day, Monday to Friday mornings.
