We're looking for a Cleaner to join our small, friendly team. We are a business centre in central Bristol (BS1) and have 85 offices across seven Grade 2* listed buildings.
We have one cleaner currently and we are now looking to bring on a secondary cleaner to join the team and share tasks.
These tasks include;
- Checking stock levels in all kitchens within the Business Centre on a daily basis + replenishing as necessary - tea bags, coffee, decaf coffee, sugar, milk, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, cleaning cloths, hand soaps, tea towels + hand towels. Emptying kitchen bins + dishwashers.
- Checking stock levels in all bathrooms within the Business Centre on a daily basis + replenishing as necessary - loo paper, hand soaps, air fresheners, cleaning products + hand towels. Emptying bins.
- Putting all dirty towels and tea towels through the washing machine and tumble dryer as required to ensure we have clean ready for the next day (currently on hold due to Covid19).
- Weekly cleaning of all offices, to include; desks, chairs and all other furniture within the room. Hoover carpets, spot clean stains, windowsills, surfaces, skirting boards etc.
- Extra work daily as per rota, to include; cleaning fridges and microwaves, watering and caring for plants, cleaning office doors, cleaning windows, spot cleaning carpets, deep cleaning of kitchens and deep cleaning of bathrooms.
- Collection of dirty mugs, glasses, crockery and cutlery from offices. Along with, the collection of rubbish, waste paper and cardboard. Ensuring each dishwasher is loaded and switched on both during the day and overnight to provide clean glasses, mugs etc for Business Centre clients to use.
- It is your responsibility to report any further cleaning that is required anywhere within the Business Centre to your Line/Senior Manager (this can include, marking on carpets, painting, broken items).
- You must also check daily that light bulbs in client offices and communal areas, including hallways, atrium areas, bathrooms, kitchens are working. If you are to spot a light bulb that is not working, it is your responsibility to log this.
Experience Required:
Previous cleaning experience within a professional environment is essential and somebody who is used to being responsible and able to work on their own, following a daily schedule is preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £9.50-£10.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- Bristol BS1 5EH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
