Project Description
The project is located across West Cardiff and works with Service Users who have a history of long-term alcohol misuse. The service provides residential support with the aim of meeting individuals’ needs, which promote independence and lead to a sustainable move-on. The project is funded through the Supporting People Programme Grant and is required to meet the Welsh Government’s National Outcomes Framework. The Framework’s four main aims are:
- Promoting Personal and Community Safety
- Promoting Independence and Control
- Promoting Economic Progress and Financial Control
- Promoting Health and Wellbeing
Purpose of Role
To be responsible for cleaning and basic maintenance of Cardiff Shoreline which needs to be cleaned and maintained on a daily basis. The post holder will ensure that any cleaning and maintenance is arranged to keep periods between a resident moving out and another moving in to a minimum and that the accommodation is maintained at an acceptable standard.
On occasion the post holder may need to provide support to other maintenance and resident and service user teams at other sites across Wales in undertaking light maintenance, cleaning and gardening.
This role is subject to a Basic DBS check
