Kier Places are recruiting now for a Cleaner to join our Facilities Management team at Oldham Library.

Location: Oldham Library
Business Unit: Kier Places - Facilities Management – Oldham Library
Contract & hours: Permanent, part time - 10 Hours per week, 5 days per week including Saturday
Package: £10.90 per hour + great benefits package including discount schemes
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cleaner in this role, you will be required to fulfil cleaning duties within the commercial building environment, making sure cleanliness and tidiness is maintained at all times. This will range from surfaces, floor areas, wastage disposal and bathrooms. You’ll work in line to COSHH regulations and maintaining high personal hygiene levels. You’ll also ensure any pest issues are reported directly to a supervisor or other senior staff member immediately.
What are we looking for?
You’ll have previous cleaning experience, ideally within an office or commercial building, with a solid understanding of the health and safety at work legislation, in particular, operating the highest cleaning standards and operating safely at work, including COSHH & use of cleaning machinery. You’ll be able to prioritise the high-risk areas of cleaning and coordinate tasks accordingly.
