We are currently seeking a passionate, conscientious and diligent Cleaner to join our Accommodation Services team, looking after our public areas.
The on target earning potential for this role is £25,568 / annual salary - comprising a base salary of £22,568, plus a qualified estimate of £3,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
- Consistently delivering and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, room preparation and presentation throughout the estate, including deep cleaning exercises
- Taking huge pride in ensuring the cleanliness, presentation and hygiene of all the public areas, reception and service areas are always achieved
- Restocking and replacing items in public areas and bathrooms, making sure our guests have everything they need when visiting or in advance of their stay
- Servicing bathrooms by washing and emptying bins; cleaning all surfaces and floors; showers, baths, basins, bidets, and toilets to the highest standard
- Vacuuming bathrooms, bedroom floors, corridors, stairs, and lifts to remove all debris; checking the vacuum cleaner each week; using the correct cleaning materials for each particular task
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
The kind of person we're looking for:
- Ideally, you'll have previous experience within a similar role though full training is offered; you'll also be available to work a flexible schedule
- You'll be required to complete standard forms to record events on a regular basis and interact with our guests so a strong grasp of English language, both written and spoken, are essential; additional languages would also be beneficial!
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual
- You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way

- Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the estate that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role
- It is estimated that in 2023, our full-time employees can expect to receive around £3000 in addition to their annual salary
