CLASSROOM ASSISTANT

Scale 2 (SCP003-004) £20,812-£21,189 per annum

Fulltime, Temporary to 31st July 2023 due to budget constraints

St Basil’s Catholic Primary School has a vacancy for and enthusiastic and experienced Temporary Classroom Assistant. The Governors wish to appoint a highly effective Classroom Assistant to support our Early Years children. The successful candidate should be able to work within a team, be flexible and willing to learn new skills to help support the pupils in their care. You will need to show initiative and a proactive approach to your work. Must be willing to undertake intimate care.

Duties will include the following:

• Undertaking intimate care
• Planning and delivering daily activities
• Supervision of pupils and promotion of good behaviour
• Establishing positive relationships with parents/carers

Previous experience of working in a school would be a distinct advantage.
