The Coppice School is a happy, thriving school in Bamber Bridge, South Ribble for pupils between 2-19 years with a range of learning difficulties. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic classroom teacher on a permanent basis to join our dedicated staff team.
The school is committed to safeguarding children and this post is subject to a check by the Disclosure and Barring Service. The interview will assess your suitability to work with children with a wide range of learning difficulties and complex needs. It will include questions relating to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We will only be contacting shortlisted applicants.

Degree
Recent participation in relevant training
Relevant SEN qualification
Experience of working with children/young people with a range of SEND to include complex learning difficulties and autism
Experience of parental engagement in children’s learning
The ability to demonstrate a high standard of classroom practice
Experience of assessment, recording and reporting for pupils with a range of SEND and complex learning difficulties
Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Experience of working with children/young people with challenging behaviour
