Job description
We are looking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic Teacher with drive and energy to join our happy, lively, forward looking and successful school. In return, we can offer you high quality professional development and the opportunity to be part of a team of teachers who regularly share best practice and learn from each other.
Applicants should be outstanding teachers and be innovative and creative in their approach to learning, with exceptionally high expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour.
Arboretum is a Good school, as confirmed at our Ofsted short inspection (November 2017). The inspectors felt that: “The pupils’ positive attitudes to learning and their respectful behaviour reflect the school’s values and the leaders’ good work to promote pupils’ personal development and welfare”.
We are a large 643 place primary (which includes 32 children in our 2 year old unit and 78 in our 3 year old nursery), with a rich ethnic mix of delightful and well-behaved children. Our modern school has recently been refurbished and extensively extended and sits in large attractive grounds. We pride ourselves on our caring ethos and the value we place in our dedicated and friendly staff teams. We are a popular school, and have a waiting list for most year groups.
Required to start September 2023.
We warmly invite prospective candidates to visit the school to find out more about us and the role. To register your interest, call the school office on (01332) 291140 or email [email protected] .
