Job description
Just4Access Ltd, a family owned Powered Access rental company, have an immediate and exciting opportunity for a Class 2 qualified Driver.
Based out of the Head Office in Highbridge, Somerset, the main purpose of this role will be to drive a rigid HGV, delivering access platforms to customers and construction sites. You will ensure safe transportation of machinery to-and-from various destinations efficiently whilst adhering to all legal requirements of road safety. Alongside this you would be expected to ensure the cleanliness and safety of your vehicle, helping load and unload your own and co-workers vehicles and, when required, lending a hand in yard related activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
- Must hold a full current class 2 driving license
- CPC required
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Must have experience of driving at least a 18T vehicle.
- Should have good local geographical knowledge although some deliveries may take you further afield
- Confidence in securing loads
- Collection and delivery of equipment as stated on paperwork
- Ensure that tachograph rules are adhered to at all times
- Report any vehicle defects to management
- Must be fit and active as you will be loading and unloading machinery
- Some experience of operating plant machinery would be an advantage, however full IPAF training will be provided
You will be required to collect and deliver during times of high pressure to meet deadlines, whilst working safely and efficiently. To be suited to this role you will have experience of driving for work, have a willing and enthusiastic character as you will be customer facing and of equal importance be able to work under your own initiative as well as a team player.

Salary
£27,500.00 - £30,000.00 per annum plus overtime (dependent on experience).
