Job description
Price Express Transport Limited is a well established Specialist Handling transport company, primarily delivering commercial catering equipment, IT cabinets and cash machines. We operate a large fleet of 3.5t – 18t vehicles nationwide, from our main sites in Doncaster / Barnsley and depots in Bristol and Felbridge.

We currently have the following permanent vacancy at our depot in Doncaster DN9:
LGV C (Class 2) Driver
This job entails deliveries and Collections in connection with our Pallet Force commitments each day on routes covering Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley. Drivers should be prepared to be asked to cover our Barnsley depot from time to time and also deliver / collect outside of the normal area, or may work as part of a 2 man crew if the job calls for it. Deliveries are mainly fork lift removal by customer, but some are residential or to commercial businesses that do not have a fork lift, a tail lift is provided to service these deliveries. Experience of this is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
We operate Monday to Friday, and start times and hours will vary dependant on the route on each given day but generally hours are 7.30am to 17.30am, we operate a saturday rota between all the drivers on site and you will be expected to cover these as part of the position, this works out about 1 saturday every 5 weeks
