Job description
We are looking for an HGV drivers to join our pallet network on a full time basis.
Drivers will be expected to carry out multi drop deliveries from our Launceton depot. Many deliveries will be made with use of pump trucks and tail lifts of good fitness and mobility is essential. No practical experience required although you must have at least a CAT C licence although Class 1 is beneficial. for the right candidate further training to obtain a class 1 can be given.

The business is ran from various depots around the country and comprises of over 250 trucks and trailers

Responsibilities and Duties For C&D Drivers
Key Task Requirements For C&D Drivers
- Deliver customers good in a professional and friendly manner
- Ensure the most direct truck friendly route is taken
- Ensure the vehicle is safe and fit to be on the road by carrying out adequate daily checks.
- Ensure the goods are handled with care and are correctly secures to the vehicle.
- Work within the tachograph and working time directive laws
- Ensure all PODs are captured accurately
- Able to work on own initiative and part of a team
- Report any issues effectively and promptly to management
- Be able to work to a productive nature.
Qualifications and Skills For C&D driver
Key Skill Requirements for driver
- Full driving licence with C or C+E vocation
- In date driver CPC and digital tachograph
- Sound geographical knowledge of local area and be able to use a road atlas.
- Posses good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Have a reason able level of fitness
- Presentable, good attitude and polite.
- Counterbalance forklift experience beneficial but not essential
- Tail lift experience benefit but not essential
