Job description
Founded in 2010, our client began as a freight forwarding company, exporting seafood from Scotland/England to mainland Europe. In 2017, our client purchased their first truck and with the fleet increasing to 13, it provides a flexibility and control to help deliver a service for our customers that cannot be matched in the industry.
Class 1 Driver (Tramper UK + Local Scottish work):
They have an exciting opportunity for a Class 1 driver to join their team based in Darnley, Glasgow. The shift patterns available are:
Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday off) – Container Work (2 vacancies)
Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday and Monday off) – Local Work (Scotland) (1 vacancy)
Wednesday to Sunday (Monday and Tuesday off) – 1. Tramping UK 2. Local work (2 Vacancies)

What attributes and qualifications are we looking for in our Class 1 Driver (Tramper UK/EU)?
Attributes/Experience
Our client believes that their drivers are the face of the company and its imperative the successful candidate always represents the company in a professional manner. The client is equipped with refrigerated and skeleton trailers and experience within these fields would be desired but not essential.
There is also a degree of flexibility required for the needs of the business and working days may alter.
You must hold the right to work within the UK.
