Class 1 Driver

Menzies Distribution are looking for HGV/LGV Class 1 Drivers to join us, providing a first class service with our team in Coalville. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers.

*** We are ideally looking for someone who when their shift pattern falls on a Saturday and Sunday is confident enough to cover the office. This will be paid at the same rate as driving and training will be provided ***

What You Really Want To Know:

• This is a rotating 4 On/4 Off Shift Pattern working Days (Office cover when working Saturday and Sunday)
• Salary: £204.00 per shift and £37,230.00 per annum
• Holiday Allowance: 20 days inclusive of bank holidays
• Start Times: are between 06:00 and 09:00
• Monthly Pay.
• Parking onsite

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other locations.
• Delivering product on behalf of our client and their customer
• Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
• Assisting with loading and unloading

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

• A full UK C+E licence
• 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
• Excellent driving skills
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous disqualifications
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
