Based in our Bridgend Office, RELA (Tokio Marine HCC) are looking for a Claims Technician to join our fast growing team.

RELA provides loss adjusting services to insurers of large scale renewable energy projects as well as risk advisory services to both insurers and investors in such projects. The nature and complexity of renewable energy assets requires the application of specialist expertise and experience if claims and risk assessments are to be handled in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
Main Responsibilities:
- Handling of insurance claims, primarily Property Claims involving technical decisions
- Ability to manage a caseload of claims from a desktop level, showing effective organisation
- Caseload/Customer management of claims from start to finish
- Make effective and prompt decisions in respect of policy cover
- Able to communicate decisions clearly over the phone and in written form
Desired Skills:
- Previous insurance experience desirable, with experience in the Lloyds of London sector preferred
- Previous phone based customer service experience
- Ability to meet specific deadlines and manage workloads
- A committed and flexible approach, whilst taking accountability for own actions
- Good attention to detail and understanding of the importance of accurate and thorough data capture
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills

Schedule:
- 7 hour shift
- Day shift – 9-5 Mon-Fri
