Our standard fulltime contracts are for 35 hours per week (with options for part time working)
However, we want you to have the flexibility to increase your working hours if it suits you, so we also offer the option for enhanced 40-hour contract which has an enhanced salary.
35-40 hours flexible shift pattern between 7am- 7pm Monday – Friday
Salary ranges from £21,700 to £26,800 depending on hours worked and experience

As a handler within our market leading Claims division, you will handle insurance claims with maximum efficiency and minimum fuss. These may be related to vehicle damage, road traffic accidents or employer’s/public liability incidents. Through meticulously checking facts and asking questions you will be able to drive your claims forward and make accurate liability decisions.
You will talk and listen calmly to our customers, and in some circumstances brokers and claimant solicitors, knowing just the right questions to ask to obtain relevant information to assist you in processing the claim. You'll enjoy taking personal responsibility for your own caseload, continually reorganising and prioritising to ensure our customers get the best service possible.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs/National 5s at grade A to C (Grades 4 – 9 from 2017) or equivalent, with one of those being in English.
- Excellent communication both written and oral together with questioning skills
- You should be able to provide excellent customer service
- No previous claims or insurance experience is required as full training will be provided.
- Quick learner who's not afraid of a challenge
- Starting salary between £21,700 to £26,800 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
