We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our busy Disrepair and Claims Team. As part of the team you will support the PS Disrepair and Claims Manager in providing an inclusive and comprehensive support service to internal and external customers. This involves investigating and resolving disrepair, compensation claims and legal notices, all in line with current NCHA policies.
The Role
As part of the various duties of the role, you will assist the Disrepairs and Claims Manager in dealing with all correspondence into the team and adhering to strict deadlines. In addition, duties involve;
- Organising and collating complaint document
- Providing support to managers in relation to complaints
- Quality checking documentation before submitting to internal and external customers
- Producing confidential reports when required
The full time vacancy is for 35 hours per week, with potential for partially agile working on completion of 3 months initial training.
The part time positions are 12 month fixed term contracts.
Requirements
In addition to having demonstrable experience of dealing with customers in a calm and professional manner, you will also
- Have relevant qualification to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Experience and/or knowledge of the building trade, building materials and terminologies
- Demonstrable experience of providing administrative support within an office environment
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Great IT skills including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- Have the ability to work to deadlines
