Salary Circa £31K - £36K, depending upon experience, plus attractive benefits package.

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Eurotunnel for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Civil Engineering Division as a Technician. You will be part of a team of technicians employed to assist in the planned maintenance of all Eurotunnel Civil Engineering assets including railway, service tunnels and terminal infrastructure. You will be responsible for reporting and recording on the Eurotunnel Maintenance Management System and the status of Eurotunnel assets. You must show a willingness to work on a shift pattern and participate in an on-call rota. Premiums are paid for shift work and on-call.
The Person
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Mathematics and English and gained a CSCS card or equivalent site qualification in Civil Engineering and or building environment, with proven demonstratable work experience. Previous experience of working in a Civil Engineering environment is essential.
This position will interest you if you are logical in your approach and enjoy problem solving, acting with confidence in real time. You will need to demonstrate your ability to work autonomously, promoting quality and high standards at all times, and show the aptitude to work under pressure and remain calm to support the operation and work colleagues. You will need to demonstrate enthusiasm to learn and develop the skills required to fulfil the role in its entirety.
