HE Sessional Lecturer in Construction and Civil Engineering

Part time 96 hours for the academic year, £36.04 per hour including holiday pay

We have an exciting range of employment opportunities to work in our Higher National Construction team, delivering level 4 and 5 modules. Pearson has recently launched a new HTQ qualification in Construction Management and we are looking to extend our current offer to reflect this and also offer Higher Apprenticeships in this area. The pathways are specifically: Construction Site Supervisor and Construction Design and Build Technician with Civil Engineering options to follow in September 2024.

We are looking for an individual interested in individuals wishing to take on sessional work (planned to be 2 modules total 96 hours across 2 semesters)

This individual must have relevant and current industry experience and have expertise in some of the following areas of construction management and civil engineering:

· Structural design

· Advanced Structural design

Experience of working in higher education and an understanding of BTEC Pearson rules and regulations and Apprenticeship Standards is desirable.

Other work opportunities in Further Education (Level 2 and 3) may also be available.
