Circular Economy Administrator
Chemical & Process Engineering
An exciting opportunity for an administrator within the Surrey Circular Economy Group in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Surrey. The Surrey Circular Economy Group is a newly established group of academics who will be expanding over the course of the year as researchers and PhD students are recruited.
As an administrator, you will play a key role in the establishment of the group, providing administrative support to all members of the group and acting as personal assistant to the group leader.
About the role
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain good relationships with group members and wider members of the faculty as required. You will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads. You will be organising meetings and events and supporting with staff recruitment.
You will be dealing with finance related queries from internal and external stakeholders, requesting time sheets and processing invoices related to different grants. You will also be responsible for communicating with staff and students regarding facilities, travel, expenses and related matters.
The role is a fixed term contract, initially for two years.
