The Naked Marshmallow Co. is a gourmet confectionery producer based on Sadler Road, Lincoln.Approaching our 9th year of trading, we produce handmade artisan confectionary and supply a large number of retailers, including: Selfridges, John Lewis, Harvey Nichols and Fenwick as well as a large number of farm shops, delis and independents across the UK.Our company also holds a strong online presence, processing and dispatching more than 75,000 customer consignments each year.We are now recruiting a number of temporary packing and production roles for our peak trading period (September-December). Although initial contracts will be issued on a temporary basis, permanent contracts may be offered to suitable candidates.Production tasks involve the production and processing of our marshmallow and chocolate-enrobed products, whilst packing roles include packaging our products into their retail packaging as well as picking and packing customer and wholesale orders. Full duties and responsibilities will be discussed at interview stage. It is highly likely that all roles will include time in both production and packing areas of the business.A steady pace is crucial for this role in order for us to successfully manage our substantially increased volumes over peak trading. We have conservative productivity timings for all tasks and it’s important that these are consistently met. Given the nature of our business, good personal hygiene is critical and no heavy makeup, perfume/aftershave or piercings of any kind can be worn in our food production or food storage areas.Hours will be a minimum of 37.5 each week, with overtime available. Successful candidates may be required to work Saturdays during the contract, having Sunday and a weekday off.
