Role: Chocolatier
The Chocolatier is an independent, artisan chocolatier based in south Bedfordshire who is proud of our creative approach and outstanding quality products. We are looking to grow our small team of passionate, fun loving, experimental Chocolatiers.
We are really excited to be looking for a confident, skilled individual to join our team as an experienced Chocolatier who can lead the way for our production team as we enter an exciting new phase of our journey.
No two weeks are the same here – we produce for The Chocolatier, Boutique businesses and National and International stores. Delivering and developing exquisite chocolate confectionary and bespoke projects.
A true passion for chocolate is essential here along with a friendly and positive nature and a drive to be part of a truly special company. Every one of us genuinely believes that we can, and are, changing the world one chocolate at a time!
Job Description:
Manufacture of various chocolate products to an exceptional standard. This will include:
- Chocolate Tempering
- Creating and finishing truffles to an extremely high standard
- Shelling/molding
- Ganache production
- Decoration using a variety of techniques
- Enrobing Chocolates
- Chocolate Bars
- Drinking Chocolates
- Supporting the creation and execution of bespoke projects
As part of a small team, other duties will include:
- Packaging of finished items
- Documenting processes and conforming to company and legal requirements
- Maintaining upkeep of records
- Upkeep of inventory to support with stock levels and ordering
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the Chocolate Factory and surrounds
- Adapting to the needs of the business as required
- Support acceptance of deliveries and collections
- Some light Warehouse activity may be required to support colleagues
Person Specifications:
Exclusive Chocolate experience is not necessary but knowledge and understanding of patisserie and food environments and standards is highly desirable

Location: Sandy, Bedfordshire. UK
Hours: 9-5pm Mon-Fri – This can be a full or part time role and we are happy to consider the hours/schedule that will work best for you
