We are looking for three team members who are passionate about what they do, efficient, keen to learn and have meticulous attention to detail. We work closely each day, so we are looking for a hardworking, adaptable person with a good sense of humour!
We are looking for someone who shares in our mission and understands our brand. Each step of our chocolate making process has been conducted with precision and care and we pride ourselves on our passion for each process.
Our workshop is a fast-paced, active environment. Many jobs are precise and often repetitive, as well as physically demanding. We are looking for flexible team members with a can-do, enthusiastic attitude!
We are a fast growing chocolate company looking to change how chocolate is appreciated in the UK and beyond. We are on a very exciting journey with Bare Bones – working with incredible chefs, coffee shops and larger retailers such as Selfridges and growing our team, production capacity and product range. We would love for someone to join our team who will share in our mission of making amazing chocolate.
No experience in food needed but an open-mind and good listening skills are essential! Full training will be provided.
Role: Chocolate Maker
We are looking for a hard-working person to assist in making award-winning chocolate and be part of our mission to make the best, single-origin bars and hot chocolate. Perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning, working with food, and being active. No previous chocolate experience is necessary, but organisation and methodical thinking are key!
Job Description:
- Processing from raw cacao beans through to tempering finished chocolate bars
- Weighing, loading, managing and unloading chocolate machinery
- Flaking and packaging of hot chocolate
- Tempering chocolate
- Chopping chocolate into chunks for catering
- Eat chocolate
- Stock management
- Maintaining workshop food hygiene/ health and safety standards
- May be asked to help with other areas of chocolate production including wrapping/postal when required
Role: Chocolate Packaging and Dispatch
We are looking for someone to be part of the team wrapping, packaging and distributing chocolate. This is a very satisfying position that requires attention to detail – perfect for someone who enjoys being task-orientated, working with their hands and being organised.
Job Description:
- Wrapping chocolate bars
- Folding packaging, applying labels and stamping
- Working closely with production team to manage wholesale/online orders and all stock and production
- Eat chocolate
- Prepare and dispatch orders for wholesale/online
- Package, seal and distribute hot chocolate
- May be asked to help with other areas of chocolate production
- Serve hot chocolate at our factory shop front during work hours
- Maintaining workshop food hygiene/ health and safety standards
- Work as part of a team as well as on your own. Must have accountability for your work with attention for small details
Details of both positions:
- 4 Month contract
- Work hours Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm, from our city centre location. No remote working
- Able to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Be comfortable with repetitive tasks
- Work in a fast paced, often noisy, environment
- All successful applicants will be asked to take part in a food safety course prior to start date (paid)
