The Role:
The Vertical Lift Supplier Management and Procurement team has an exciting position within our Aircraft support team as Chinook Through Life Customer Support (TLCS) Procurement Agent (Buyer)
Position Responsibilities:
This is an individual contributor position in a growing global organization. The individual will partner with internal collaborators and external suppliers to expand our service delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners.
The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.The candidate must be flexible to accommodate business requirements that span multiple time zones and may require travel, having international experience working with diverse groups and cultures will be an added advantage. The candidate also will have strong communication skills. The candidate must be able to maintain positive relationships with leadership and all levels of the organization.
This Role will be working with a Key Supplier to ensure aircraft maintenance activities are delivered on time and with zero defects. This position requires onsite support at the Gosport (Fleetlands) location to ensure customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities:
As a member of the Supply Chain Management team, the Buyer responsibilities include:
Negotiating contracts for products, services and technologies.
Engaging collaborators to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiating pricing and contract terms and conditions.
Preparing and implementing negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Optimizing execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand.
Managing supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance.
Mitigating risks and issues. Initiating supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.
Performing continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
Preparing and implementing proprietary information agreements.
Supporting sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
Communicating performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
The successful candidate will need to be adaptable and a creative problem solver with the ability to liaise and work alongside a number of functional subject areas to help develop and form the strategic supply chain approach to support the programme.
5+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP/ERP knowledge.
