We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our dynamic and friendly therapy team. The team covers north Bristol locality. The role will be working as part of a NHS childrens therapy service alongside a range of health professionals including other technicians who will form a supportive peer support group. In this role you will carry out Occupational therapy programmes, and do this follow up work independently in clinics, nurserys schools or families homes. You will also be required to make up resources, maintain and administer childrens equipment and mobility aids as well as assisting with clinics. You will work alongside therapists to understand the therapy needs of the children and young people referred who have difficulties with motor and physical skills. The aim is to help these children and young people develop independence and functional skills and to meet their physical potential. These are popular roles which people find rewarding and satisfying. Supervision and training is valued and provided regularly from within the team. To carry out this role you will be required to travel across sites so would benefit from holding a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.
