Band 6 Children’s Occupational Therapy Post
An exciting opportunity has arisen, a part time band 6 post is available to complement our existing experienced team.
This is a community post covering Flintshire; we provide Occupational Therapy services to children with varying conditions. Our services are delivered in several settings and we have established working links with our colleagues in health, education and social services.
We are a team of Occupational Therapists; Occupational Therapy support staff and
Admin support. The successful post holder will have the opportunity to receive
Clinical experience and support / supervision
The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner following professional codes of conduct and ethics carrying a varied specialist caseload in a specialist area of practice which will include patients with complex needs.
Clinical activities can take place in a wide range of settings including hospital, clinic and community settings, and patients own homes.
The post holder will provide supervision to Occupational Therapy support workers and students and in addition may provide supervision or guidance and support to support workers from another discipline. The post holder will support the learning and development of others including colleagues and peers.
