We’re currently looking for kind, friendly and compassionate Support Workers to join our team and help us to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people who have complex needs. We endeavour to create a home environment where they are able to express their characters and needs, feel safe and enrich their lives.
The home operates 24-hours each day, every day of the year, requiring round-the-clock staffing and will entail supporting, engaging and educating in day-to-day activities which are based around developing the children's and young people's emotional and social needs.
You will support our clients in a variety of ways, depending on their needs, this could include but is not limited to:
· Providing companionship
· Administering or prompting to take medications
· Support in the community
· Supporting children with challenging behaviour, autism and complex needs.
If you’d like to join our team you’ll need to have:
· Proof of the right to work in the UK
· (UK Passport, Long Birth Certificate or relevant Work Permit)
· A friendly, caring nature and willingness to help others
· Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Residential Care or equivalent
· Able to communicate well in English
· Full UK Driving Licence & own transport is extremely desirable
