Hi!
Ackeee Tree children's cooking club are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic play workers and team leaders for our holiday cooking club running through in Newham (E15).
Your role will be to work within a team to deliver a mixture of cooking activities, sports, and off-site activities to Primary School aged children (6-12yrs old). This role is currently temporary, but there are options for working in the Half Terms, Christmas holidays and permanent during term time.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain work experience through the holidays and be a part of a team that encourage children to be active and gain some essential cooking/kitchen skills.
We pride ourselves during the children's club to ensure we deliver an excellent, creative programme for the children, build relationships with our parents/carers - so having excellent people skills is essential.

Newham (E15) - Stratford (Near Maryland TFL Station)

Play worker - responsible to Team Leader

Course Leaders (Artists, Musicians, Sports Coach, Coders, etc)
Hours:
W/C 3rd April 2023
Monday to Thursday only
Working time with children 10am-2pm (you may be asked to work 30mins to 1hour around these times for setup, pack away and awaiting parents)
There may be days to work a full day instead of the split timings.
W/C 10th April 2023
Tuesday to Friday only

Pay: up to £15 per hour (dependent on role chosen)
Ackeee Tree Ltd is share the commitment amongst all staff, employees and volunteers to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. All applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening, including child protection training, references from 2 people (at least 1 past employer) as well as the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). As part of our Safer Recruitment procedure, you’ll be asked to attend an online induction (via Zoom) which includes details of all pre-employment training.
Licence/Certificates
· Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) on the update system – preferred, however if unavailable, candidate must be willing to have an enhanced DBS conducted prior to starting the role.
· Paediatric First Aid Certification – preferred, however if unavailable, candidate must be willing to undergo training, dependent on role applied for.
· Childcare Cache Level 2 – preferred.
