Would you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical care?
Apollo Home Healthcare are recruiting Healthcare Assistant’s who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support our service user with his complex care needs.
Our service user is a young boy who requires support throughout the night on a 1:1 basis.
He is a happy sociable 7-year-old who is surrounded by his loving family in Hartlepool.
During the day our service user attends Primary School and will need his dedicated team to offer support with his care and social needs.
He enjoys participating in tumble play, and other leisure activities and also loves to play computer games with his brothers and sisters. You will often find him with a cheeky smile on his face, cuddling his siblings.
Being a massive thrill seeker is another hobby of his, he loves to ride rollercoasters and is planning a visit to LEGO land in the future!
He is able to mobilise himself, however will need support and monitoring from his care team for long distance journeys.
Throughout the night you will be there to assist with any of his care needs, while offering reassurance as and when needed.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Essential Skills Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal care
- Moving and handling
- Medication Administration
Desired Experience required
- Previous experience supporting a child within a care setting
- Tracheostomy Care
- Ventilation Management
- Gastrostomy Care (PEG)
- Oral Suctioning
Shifts Available
- Part Time
- Nights- 12 hour shifts- Minimum 24 hours per week
Please note that training will be provided locally
We are also offering all new candidates a £150 Welcome Bonus

Weeknights £11.50 per hour Approx. £115 per 10 hour shift
Weekends £12.00 per hour Approx. £120 per 10 hour shift
Bank Holidays £13.00 per hour Approx. £130 per 10 hour shift
