Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?
Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young girl with complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
She is a happy young girl who lives at home with her parents and siblings in Dudley.
She enjoys accessing lots of different community-based activities and spending days out with her family and care team. This includes going swimming, shopping, to the cinema and visiting the zoo.
Time at home is spent doing lots of fun things with her carers including, messy play, drawing and playing with interactive & sensory based toys. She also likes to be pampered and have her nails painted; pink and bright colours are her favourite.
She is unable to communicate verbally and will do so via noises such as crying or smiling and she will also use eye gaze. It is important that her care team spend time getting to know her and her communication style to avoid her becoming distressed or frustrated.
She can clearly hear and likes to be talked through all aspects of her care.
Our ideal applicant will have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, in order fulfil her parents wish for her to live her life the best she can and have as much fun as possible.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience
- Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
- Oxygen administration
- Saturation Monitoring
- Oral Suctioning
- Nebuliser Care
We have the following shifts available;
- Full Time / Part Time
- Nights- 7.30pm - 8.30am

Weeknights £12.50 per hour (Approx. £137.50 per 11 hour shift)
Weekends £13.00 per hour (Approx. £143 per 11 hour shift)
Bank Holidays £14.50 per hour (Approx. £159.50 per 11 hour shift)
