Join the Team! Sound Care Agency is currently looking for exceptional nannies to join our team of back up care nannies in the greater Bay Area. Are you comfortable and experienced balancing the needs of children of all ages? Do you enjoy having a flexible schedule and working in new environments? Yes, you say? Then Sound Care Agency is the place for you! Here in our back-up care department, we specialize in providing on demand, back up and temporary childcare to families in the greater Bay Area (except Marin County). As a member of our back up care team, and an employee of Sound Care Agency, one day you could be filling in for a sick nanny, one day you could be caring for brand new infant twins and another day you could be watching school age kids at a fantastic hotel - the adventures are truly endless. And, we make it easy for you. Our process allows you to set your own schedule and only accept the jobs that fit within your own set parameters. The short of it is this, being a SCA back-up care nanny allows you to dictate the when, the where and how often you work. It doesn’t get much better than that. THE DETAILS Location: Though we service several areas around the Bay Area, our biggest need is for nannies able to work in and around Oakland, Alameda, San Francisco, San Mateo, Los Altos, Redwood City Start Date: We are looking for nannies immediately! Children: Our nannies can expect to care for 1-4 children in a home (or hotel) setting ranging in ages from newborn to 14 years old. Hours: You choose! We have shifts available to fit every schedule (weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings and everything in between). Our only scheduling requirement is that you work at least 4 shifts/month. Because you are in charge of your own schedule, you also never have to ask to take time off Compensation: $25/hr (you will be hired as a W2 employee by Sound Care Agency) and unlimited overtime at $37.50/hr Duration: We are looking for nannies that can commit to us for at least 3 months and hopefully well beyond. Experience: Our nannies must have at least 2 years of professional childcare experience. We are looking for caregivers that are a shining example of what a true nanny is. We work with nannies that can not only meet the physical needs of the kids in their care (changing diapers, feeding, putting down for naps/sleep), but who come to the table with ideas on creative ways to engage with children. REQUIREMENTS In addition to what we outlined above, in order to join our amazing team, you must: Have at least 2 year of professional childcare experience Must be TrustLine registered (or be willing to register at your own expense) Demonstrate a genuine passion for providing families with exceptional childcare Have Stellar (and reachable) references Be HIGHLY responsible, dependable, patient, nurturing, trustworthy and FUN! Have daily internet, phone/text and email access Have a reliable car to get you to/from assignments in a timely manner (no on-the-job driving will be required) Physically be able to lift 50 lbs., sprint short distances, get easily up from and down to floor, etc. Be willing to wear a mask on the job Be willing to provide a copy of your responsible driving record (while no on the job driving will be required, we must have this for insurance purposes).
