Job description

Brave Futures is a well-established charity providing support and a safe place across Norfolk and Suffolk for children and young people up to 21 years who have disclosed sexual abuse. We use an approved programme in order to help our children rebuild their future and move forward with their lives.

We are looking for three passionate and dedicated people to join our growing Norfolk team with opportunities across West Norfolk, Norwich, and Great Yarmouth. Successful candidates may be required to travel to various hubs across their working week. Our current hubs are situated in Kings Lynn, Swaffham, Dereham, Norwich, and Great Yarmouth. The ideal candidates will have experience of working with children, an understanding of the impact of trauma on children as well as a working knowledge of safeguarding. Experience of completing assessments would also be of benefit but not essential as full training will be given.

The available posts are for 37 hours per week; however, part time hours may be considered.

Salary - starting at £27,500 to increase following successful probation.
Annual leave - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays pro-rata.
Expenses- mileage paid when travelling away from office base.
Events- multiple events are arranged throughout the year and we highly encourage our practitioners to attend these where possible.
Training- Full training provided within induction as well as continuous professional development.

Essential:

Driving license and own transport.
