Team Structure
Reporting to the Managing Partner of the business, this role will manage a global team of 14 direct reports, including two established senior managers who are specialists in Recruitment and People Operations
Position:
Systemiq continues to grow rapidly and we are looking for a new CPO to join us in one of our European offices (Amsterdam, Munich, London or Paris). Your portfolio will be to manage the Human Capital of our organisation and be the primary go-to people strategist within global Systemiq.
This role will drive and evolve the people strategy which promotes continuous growth, best in class recruitment and retention strategies, people development, driving cultural change, employee experience and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
As part of this role, the CPO will be expected to also provide creative and insightful solutions to critical HR issues and advise other members of the executive team accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Strategic people advisor to the board & executive committee
- Drive and maintain strategic and tactical approaches for the overall People & Talent function at a global and regional level (Europe, Indonesia, and LATAM)
- Provide strategic thought-leadership and hands-on guidance for recruiting, hiring, and retention in a challenging and competitive industry across multiple international locations
- Have overall accountability for L&D globally; establish a strong Learning and Development culture and drive initiatives to support Leadership and Management Development and coaching programmes
- Embed Systemiq’s culture and values in our people-related policies, developing new ways to build upon the existing culture to ensure we attract, retain and motivate the best talent
- Provide thought leadership on latest HR technology and people analytics
- Improve, implement, and embed our global program for managing talent, evaluating performance and providing feedback
- Continue to develop and implement of our total reward strategy.
- Continue to develop and enhance our diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy
- Ensure that the People (HR) team's knowledge, capabilities, and skills are up to date and relevant to deliver on the People products and services the company needs
- Inspire the global People team with fresh and innovative thinking and support
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of proven and demonstrable experience of delivering People (HR) strategy and excellence as a Global CPO, preferably in the professional services industry
- Ability and proven track record of key stakeholder management at Exec/ Board level is essential
- High capability to combine best-in-class thinking on recruitment processes, staffing, talent & performance management, all combined with an innovative mindset and 21st century approach
- Experience in total rewards, including remuneration committees
- Proven experience in using latest HR technology, analytics and trend analysis
- Expert in new joiner onboarding and pastoral care
- Experienced in employee relations and implementing DEI strategies
- Evidence of working within global scale-ups is an advantage
- Strong alignment and commitment to our vision and our values
- Business international level English – both written and oral. Additional European languages also welcome
