Are you a strategic leader able to deliver? Do you have significant experience of working in a senior leadership role? Are you qualified member of a CCAB accountancy body, preferably CIPFA? Do you have extensive experience of managing large multi-million-pound budgets in a public sector organisation?

This is an opportunity for an innovative, adaptable and dynamic individual with experience in the field of leading financial administration and good governance.

Responsible for advising the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) on the preparation of financial strategies to achieve objectives. You should have significant experience of formulating business and financial strategy, to ensure value for money is achieved in the PCC’s financial affairs.

You will provide inspirational and strategic leadership and direction to our Finance and Audit Team and be a champion of equality, diversity and inclusion, whilst developing positive relationships with the wider office. We are therefore seeking someone with previous experience of operating at senior leadership level in a complex organisation.

You will have a demonstrable track record of organisational effectiveness, performance and continuous improvement. As a skilled influencer, you will bring strong stakeholder engagement skills. You will have experience in effective treasury management arrangements which comply with all regulatory requirements.
