It’s an exciting time to join Citizens Advice Brent, as we have recently won a significant contract to supply advice services to the people of the London Borough of Brent. If you are an inspiring leader with the resilience and desire to lead in the fight against the impact of poverty and social injustice and would relish the opportunity to shape and direct our service for the next decade, apply to join us and make a lasting impact as our charity’s new Chief Executive.
- We are here to serve the diverse community of Brent and have been present in the borough of Brent since 1939 and our office opened in Willesden in 1982.
- We are a vital part of the community with a clear understanding of local needs. We use this to tailor our services and help improve local policies and practices.
- Since the pandemic, we have striven to increase our accessibility to all sections of society while maximising the volume of clients we can help in person and virtually.
- We seek to position ourselves to influence policy and practice in response to local social injustice and from our national network. We work locally, regionally, and nationally to proactively campaign and secure a place in policy decision making.
- With demand for our services increasing in Brent and more competition for funding, we are aiming to maximise what we can achieve and to increase the funding available to the charity.
