A family run cafe situated at Bolton Gate Farm on the edge of Weston Coyney in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands countryside. We take pride in our excellent, personal customer service, as well as our delicious coffee and food menu packed with locally sourced products. During the summer months we also operate a number of arts events on the farm for our local community and plan to open during the evening on Fridays and Saturdays.
Job description
Chef/Kitchen Assistant
We are looking for a chef/kitchen assistant to join our small and friendly team. Experience working in a kitchen is required. We are also looking to expand our offer with an evening menu served on Friday and Saturday evenings during the summer and as such are looking for someone comfortable with cooking and helping to design new menus.

-Basic knowledge of food preparation and cleanliness (further training will be provided)
The job includes:
- Food preparation: sandwiches, breakfasts, baps, soups
- Stock rotation
- Baking
- Cooking
- Pot washing
A Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification is desirable but not essential. An applicant with previous experience in food preparation is preferable but above all we are looking for a friendly, lively and hard-working individual with a willingness to learn on the job and adapt to any role required.
Contracted hours available are variable and range from 15 - 30 hours per week depending on employees and business requirements. If you have any further questions about the role please feel free to contact us directly.
