WHAT ARE MY MAIN DUTIES?
As Chef de Partie you will work closely with both junior and senior chefs. You will be required to maintain high quality throughout the kitchen whilst also occasionally running your own section. You will need to have an understanding of the whole kitchen and have the ability to help all sections throughout any given day.
In this role your responsibilities will include:
- Running a section and working closely with the Commis Chefs.
- Taking on responsibility of stock take and health safety when required.
WHAT DO I NEED?
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years’ experience as Commis Chef or higher.
- A basic understanding and commitment to learn classic cookery and seasonal British ingredients.
- Good, demonstratable knife skills.
- Thorough understanding of kitchen etiquette and practice, such as lack of wastage, cleanliness
punctuality. - Level 2 food safety.
- An unrelenting pursuit of quality within all aspects of the kitchen.
