Our food is prepared fresh daily using local suppliers and fresh ingredients.Your role as Chef de Partie:This is a position to aid the head chef on the day to day running of the kitchen and to take lead of the kitchen when the head chef is off also to help and guide our kitchen team.Your main duties will involve:Accountable for food safety and hygiene within the specified kitchen areasTraining and coaching junior kitchen staff and ensuring all team members are aware of how food is stored, rotated and disposed ofInput to menu development as requiredPrepare fresh foods to an exemplary standard on a daily basisBe responsible for achieving the food margin through portion control and management of raw ingredientsStocking shelves and ensuring stock is securely stored at the correct temperature and correctly rotatedEnsure that all health & safety directives are followed in the preparation of foodWhat we are looking forAbility to work on your own initiativeDesire to learn, improve and train from those around youA proud individual that always strives to deliver their bestPassion for fresh foodMinimum 1 years’ experience in a kitchen environmentA methodical, calm and organised approach to work whilst working under pressurePrecise planning and organisation.
