Le Pain Quotidien Mayfair
Full Time London, England 10.56 - 12.04 GBP Today
Job description

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate Barista to join us in Le Pain Quotidien. We’re a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts. At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That’s why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you’ll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.

Le Pain Quotidien Mayfair is close to Marble Arch and Bond Street station and only a few meters away from a busy Oxford Street. We are a cosy, but busy operation with many regulars. Our Marylebone and Hyde Park bakeries are nearby.

You’ll be a naturally positive and energetic person who enjoys engaging with people. You’ll have great communications skills, a passion for food, coffee, and guest care.

We care about people and love to see them grow. We treat them with kindness and generosity. And we want to bring them together to share experiences and form one community. You’ll always enjoy a warm feeling at Le Pain Quotidien, your home away from home. We want our guests and our teams to enjoy each other’s company.

  • Study support and professional qualifications with an industry-leading Apprenticeship scheme.
  • Up to £200 cash reward for every recommended team member.
  • Up to £500 cash reward for every recommended manager.
  • In-house training academy offering an exciting portfolio of courses and development paths.
  • 6 monthly team survey
  • Regular socials.
  • Regular team and companywide incentives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the highest levels of service and food& beverage preparation to all guests.
  • Maintain shelves and fridges stocked according to merchandising standards.
  • Maintain and promote fresh items and weekly specials.
  • Welcome, all visitors and guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Meet or exceed daily targets through the high quality of guest care, product knowledge and product standards.
