We are currently recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie to join the innovative and award-winning team at Fallow restaurant, St. James's.If you are a dedicated and hard-working professional, you will thrive in our unpretentious and dynamic team. Chef Directors, Jack and Will, work closely with kitchen teams to develop dishes with a focus on both nose-to-tail and root-to-stem cookery. This means looking for new and innovative ways to create dishes from what others might deem 'waste products'.Fallow has been incredibly successful and so we are looking for a Chef de Partie who has the skills and previous experience to be able to perform to a high standard in a high-volume restaurant.As Chef de Partie your roles and responsibilities will include:- Producing all food consistently to the correct quality and standard- Facilitate the smooth running of each Kitchen section by:- Logical and efficient fridge organisation- Correct stock control and rotation- Training the junior team in recipes, techniques, time management and performance- Diligently adhere to all food hygiene and health & safety standards.- Work alongside kitchen operations manager to ensure the smooth day to day running of the kitchenJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £27,250.00-£32,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionFlexitimeSchedule:10 hour shift12 hour shift8 hour shiftFlexitimeMonday to FridayWeekend availabilitySupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeTipsYearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
