Chef/Cook for Church Farm Tea Room (1 day a week)
Tuesday or Wednesday 6.30am – 3.30pm
Pay – £10.76 / hour depending on age & experience. (increasing in April)
Would also be suitable for someone who is self-employed (hourly rate negotiable)
This job is for our summer season and will from now until the end of October 2023
There may be cover required over the winter season, for holiday/sickness for the main Chef and may also be asked to do extra hours during busy periods.
The chef needs to be an experienced, organised, quick worker, who has good communication skills and have high hygiene standards.
- The tearoom takes group bookings and prepares buffets for children’s parties.
- Lunch varies from 30-200 covers per day. With light lunches such as paninis, soup, quiche, children’s menu and specials.
- There are no split shifts or evening work.
- We are always open to suggestions and will work alongside someone who will enhance our already excellent reputation for food at Church Farm.
- We have a very friendly team who serve tea and cake and take orders for lunch at the front of the open kitchen while the chef works at the back.
