Hank's Dirty has launched a dark kitchen in Cambridge! With restaurants in Ipswich, Felixstowe, Norwich, St Albans & Colchester Hank's Dirty is ready to take the vegan fast-food scene by storm!
Offering a fully vegan menu that includes everything from fried chicken to burgers and kebabs along with extensive dessert choices, our menu has been a hit. We've partnered with a well known pub to launch our dark kitchen and now also offer dine-in meals as well.
We're looking for an experienced grill chef that can manage a busy shift and get orders ready for multiple platforms at once whilst adhering to our prep standards on a large menu. To start with, you'll be the manager of your own domain and be expected to work about 42.5 hours per week with Monday/Tuesday off.
We've got an extensive menu that takes time to learn and new systems in the restaurant to set-up. Preparing plant-based alternatives to meat requires a change in thinking and there is lots to learn! There will be excellent support from our existing management team.
You'll be responsible for ensuring our extensive menu is prepared according to spec and that a perfect product is delivered to the customer every time. Candidates should be experienced line cooks, grill chefs, managers or similar with a genuine passion for customer service and the ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
Attitude and customer service is everything at Hank's. An interest or familiarity with veganism or plant-based cooking would be an asset. If you've got experience as a manager or desire to advance then this position will offer you the perfect opportunity.
