You will be asked to complete daily kitchen activities assisting with menu preparation, cooking food, ensure food quality and freshness, monitoring and dispatching online orders as well as replenishing stock.
- Helping with organising kitchen stock and ingredients
- Ensuring a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verify all food products are properly dated and organised for quality assurance
- Manage food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimise waste, plus to work with existing systems to improve waste reduction and manage budgetary concerns
- Verify food storage units all meet high standards and follow hygiene guidelines
- Coordinate with kitchen team on executing online ordering and kitchen efficiency and staffing responsibilities
- Employ food safety best practices and make sure that all kitchen staff members do the same
- Act with appropriate caution in a dangerous environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces
- Work quickly and accurately, especially during busy periods
Job Duties:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
- Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standard
- Preparing reports

Salary: £30,000.00 per year
